FreeAbout this course
Hello! This is my story.
Dr. Auguste lives near San Diego, and grew up in Berkeley, California. She attended college at UC Berkeley, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). Later, after her career was established, she returned to graduate school for her masters and PhD degrees in engineering.
Dr. Auguste’s career has included many engineering roles, including work on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, mobile products, wearables, and software for banking and e-commerce servers. She has over 20 patents for engineering inventions. Dr. Auguste participates in volunteer work in Tanzania, Uganda, Mexico, Haiti, and various parts of the United States. She is passionate about people helping people — all of us sharing our talents together, to lift each other up.
What inspires me…
As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, Dr. Auguste enjoys spending time with her extended family, especially hiking and biking. Fun fact: she plays bass guitar and piano.
