Adrienne Brabant
Hello! This is my story.
I was born and raised in Mountian View, California and graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Special Event Management. I’ve spent the last nine years working at Eventbrite, a software company based in San Francisco that enables anyone to sell tickets to events. I was drawn to Eventbrite because of my passion for special events and love of customer service.
For the first four years I was at Eventbrite, I worked on the Customer Support team and really enjoyed working with our customers to help them work through any challenges they faced while creating events and purchasing tickets. I became a product expert which positioned me nicely to get to move to Nashville for six months to launch our office. It was in Nashville that I realized I had a strong passion for Learning & Development, training, and coaching. It was also one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my career because we hired and trained 90 people in three months with no physical office space.
After I moved back from Nashville, I transitioned to the Learning & Development team where I’ve spent the majority of my time fostering a strong company culture and creating programming that enables people to do their best work. I began coaching a few years ago to help unlock people’s fullest potential and it’s still one of my favorite parts of my job.
I want to be involved in the GEMs Program because I believe in the power of women and want to be a part of an impactful organization that aims to change the world.
What inspires me...
Today, I enjoy living on the Central Coast, in San Luis Obispo, California. I work remotely and spend my time hiking, going to the beach, listening to music, cooking, and hanging with my friends.
