Idea generation

About this category
Idea generation 1s the process of forming, revising, pondering, and sharing new ideas of any l‹ind—realistic, abstract, or anywhere in between. Brainstorming (in all its forms) is probably the best I‹nown aspect of idea generation. It’s important because it helps people say their ideas out loud, however silly they may seem.
Once the idea is out in the open, it is recorded and then it can be developed and tested. It is important for students to understand that if ideas are never shared, they will never go any further than just that—an Idea! Once an idea is shared, it becomes a possibility. Sharing ideas in a group has the added advantage that it can evolve and morph into other ideas and it can sparl‹ additional new ideas.
Entrepreneurs rarely keep ideas to themselves – they talk about them and share them and see where they can go with them. Most students will be familiar with the general concept of brainstorming – where either an individual or a group of people come up with as many new ideas as possible for a specific topic or problem. Entrepreneurs in all fields use brainstorming techniques whenever they need new ideas related to any aspect of entrepreneurial activity, such as product development, concept improvement, and, in particular, problem-solving. Brainstorming can be very effective for students, who should see linI‹s to where they could use the different techniques in their own lives.
Brainstorming
Not only can brainstorming help you generate ideas that might not have otherwise been considered, but it can also help you better understand where your business is struggling, and where you need to focus your time. Brainstorming allows people to think more freely, without fear of judgment.
Group Brainstorming
When diverse teams grow accustomed to bouncing ideas off each other even outside of structured sessions. It encourages open and ongoing collaboration to solve problems and generate innovative ideas. It is, however, crucial to avoid group think and agreeableness because this undermines the innovative process whereby novel and unique ideas can result in solid process and business propositions.
Visual Brainstorming
Visual brainstorming simply means putting ideas and thoughts on display (rather than the actual act of drawing visuals). You can be at any experience level and still be an effective visual brainstormer.
Syllabus
The business idea creates a reason to invest and it also creates sales and profit. With sales and profits come the scope to invest in more products and services, enabling the business to grow. It is the pure essence of capitalism. All that said, if you have a bad idea, you are more likely to face competition.
